Inspired by the story of Aphrodite from the book - Lost Goddesses of Early Greece - A Collection of Pre-hellenic Greek Myths by Charlene Spretnak. I cut disks from copper, dome them, enamel them with several layers of torch-fired enamels and decals, then attach them to settings that I have pierced out of copper, enameled on both sides and added the words - Flowering, Growth, Radiance, Joy, and Beauty - to the back with iron oxide decals and torch-fired enamels.
