Fold form leaf pendant formed and enameled with turquoise vitreous enamel. It is a little more than an inch long. Comes with a 16-gauge open copper jump ring. #1, 2, & 3 are still available or contact me to have one specially made for you in just about any torch-fired enamel color.

Fold-forming allows you to take a hard cold piece of metal and make it look like something soft and organic.
Enameling is the art of fusing glass to metal. Enamel (glass) is crushed to a powder like the consistency of fine sand. This powder is then applied to a metal surface. Then the piece is heated either in a kiln, or with a hand-held torch. I prefer using a torch because I like to watch the enamel flow! More coats, normally different colors, can be applied. Sometimes 10-20 firings are required to bring about the desired results.
